Hi,
I have installed new SAP system ECC 6.0 on Windows with SQL Server. I used to login with new clients with credentials SAP* and "PASS" in the past. but strangely, today I am unable to login to the new clients 100, 200 and 300 with these credentials. I have tried with "DDIC" and my own master password, which is changed during installation but failed.
could any one please help me how to login to the new clients. is there any profile parameters needs to be changed?

We are trying to configure inbound emails into SAP with exchange server 2007. Followed note 455140 and completed most of the config but couldn't able to get messages into SAP inbox. what we are trying do is, to setup offline workflow approvals. request you guideline and valuable inputs on how to get the desired functionality.
1) created new entries into RZ10 as follows.
is/SMTP/virt_host_0 *:25000;
icm/server_port_1 PROT=SMTP,PORT=25000,TIMEOUT=180;
2) Activated SAPConnnect in SICF.
3) Activated ICM->SMTP service.
4) Maintained default domain as test.com in SCOT.(Note: Test.com is not available, just a dummy one).
After restarting the instance, sent a mail from SBWP to my outlook id( mail sender-SAP LOG IN ID@test.com, receiver-rakesh@xxxxx.com).i am able to receive the mail into outlook but when i reply back not reaching SAP inbox(SOIN).
am i missing any thing in the configuration ?. why am i not reaching back to SAP inbox ?.
if we need to create a rule or route in MSEXCHANGE 2007, how can it be created with port 25000.
request your expert opinions.

I wander how to see SAP Start Services are running. Namely I have situation like in note 1401712.
I can not check it via port 50013 and via jcmon I can see server0 and icm are running(not sure though for scs and maybe something more)
It is the portal part (instance) of an BI 7.3 system which I would like to patch

i am trying to run SUM to update a 7.31 SP0 NetWeaver Java Stack, which runs within a Virtual Machine, but the system gets following error message when executing the step

I did provide the correct user password and the J2EE is up and running. Everything else does work as normal, just the SUM does not want to work. That´s the first time I used SUM as JSPM was disabled.

But when i again logged , i got the following error.

Hallo, I try to add my certificat signed from godedy, to NW 7.40 java
environment.
I have two java(portal) environments - one on NW 7.0 and one on NW 7.40
and two pem files - key.pem and cert.pem or one pfx file, already signed by godedy. On the 7.0 there are no problems with the certificat if I

I have imported private key from pfx file in NW 7.40 java keystore successful, but it's not possible to include certificat from cert file, the message "ERROR: -> iaik.asn1.CodingException:
ASN.1
creation error: iaik.asn1.CodingException: Length: Too large ASN.1
object: 40"
is thrown.
As a result I can't export view to pse to get signed certificat to start working.

We are facing some problems with some special SSO requirements. We have a three system landscape (NW 7.4 ABAP only) and in DEV and INT this problem occur: We have a webdynpro ABAP (selfdeveloped) but the problem exists also for all SAP-Webdynpros. If our developers want to test the webdynrpo with SE80 (or also with SICF) SSO is not working, they get the normal login screen in https.They can login and the SSO cookie gets generated but in our PRD System there is no login necessary it they test the same webdynpro in SE80! There is no portal or some other system involved, everything on the same system.

I logged into SAP server with Administrator users (My SAP systems are installed on Windows 2008 r2).
Suddenly, i cannot open or access SAP MMC any more. I see this error saying do not have sufficient rights.
I had to manually do stopsap to stop 3 systems. My question is:
why this error appeared all of a sudden, i usually start/stop SAP systems using SAP MMC.
If this problem happens again, how to check the status of all SAP systems? as hostname:5xx13 takes a lot of time and only shows individual system,
while executing stopsap, its takes a long time, is there a better way to perform stop operation?
it seems the system is taking a lot of memory/CPU, in such case remote connection is slow. So, how to perform the stop operation from outside?

My solution manager 7.1 is on basis 702, so that would be Netweaver 7 EHP2?
Can I upgrade it to NetWeaver 7.3 EHP1 or NW 7.4? If so how?
I have a SAP ERP 6.0 EHP4 ides system, which is on netweaver 7.1, can I upgrade it to Netweaver 7.31 as well?
How can it be achieved without upgrading the system to EHP6? or the concept is not logical?

We have a Java system, which has its UME user store in an ABAP system.
Now our functional guys have asked us to disconnect the Java system and connect it to another
ABAP system, meaning it will use the user store of another ABAP system, usage type ERP.
Is that even possible ? If yes, kindly guide me how exactly to do that...

My WebDynpro application should connect to HANA DB via JDBC and read some data. But now I'm confused how to get a connection to the DB. If I use the following code:

without user credentials, then I get an error "com.sap.db.jdbc.exceptions.jdbc40.SQLInvalidAuthorizationSpecException: [10]: invalid username or password".
If I use credentials, everything is ok, but in this case URL to DB and user's credentials are hardcoded which is no good. There're destinations in the link mentioned above. How I can use these destinations in my code to get connection?
