there are two SAP Netweaver Trial versions, to learn an make some experiences with ABAP.
SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP 7.03 64-bit Trial,7.03 SP04 64-bit
and
SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP 7.02 SP6 64-bit Developer Edition,7.02 SP6 64-bit
But what one is the right version for Beginners, is there any Difference, or are both ok for us Beginners?

Dear friends,
I am upgrading an ERP 6.0 system to EHP7 and currently facing an issue in the START_SHDI_SHD2 phase. The shadow system is up and running, and I am able to login. But the RFC login to it fails with a short dump in SAPMSSY1 which mentions, "DYNPRO_NOT_FOUND".
When I checked in st22, the error is "You are trying to use screen 3004 in program "SAPMSSY1". This screen does not exist."
The current kernel is 742, I tried changing the kernels patch levels , and also tried downgrading it to 741 and 740. Unfortunately, didn't help.
Could you please advise, how to correct this error ?

I am trying to create a business partner in SAP GUI transaction BP with external grouping / external number range / external number assignment. There are three external groupings in the system defined in customizing. One of the gorupings is marked as default. They are not set to hidden. There is no internal grouping and we don't want or need one, we want to manually enter the number.
When I click the (Create) Person, Group or Organization button in transaction BP I get the error "No internal standard grouping exists" "Message no. R11117" (117(R11)).
I also tried entering the ID first (the ID field is empty and editable) and clicking the Person/Group/Organization button second. This produced the same error message.
How can I tell transaction BP to use external number assignment / which grouping I want to use?
Some materials I found mention that I should select the grouping first. But there is nothing to select it. The only field is the ID field, there is no drop-down for the grouping or even for internal or external number assignment. Maybe this choice menu should appear after pressing the Person/Group/Org button, but then I only get the error message (at the bottom of the screen) and no additional fields appear.
What am I missing?

We have a ECC 6.0 system running on Oracle 11.2.0.4.
One thing we need to do lately is to work out how much disk space is being utilised by a few custom Z* tables in the database. However we can't seem to find out exactly how much space is being used.
What we have tried is to use DB02, and then check under Segments -> Detailed Analysis.
However the result we get from the result is too small. Only 5MB.
The database table has a column that actually holds the file contents of attached documents, so it couldn't possibly be so small.
We've also tried the other option "Detailed Analysis (Aggregated)", and that returns a more sensible 6.9GB. However we don't know for sure what the "Aggregated" option does, and past discussions on SCN about how to find database disk space usage never mentioned the "Aggregated" option too.
Does anyone know which is the correct option?

Further Details

Had chosen to split tables before copy and had also executed SMIGR_CREATE_DDL report prior to DB export with target - Oracle DB.
Copied the resultant .SQL files into Export_dump/ABAP/DB directory.
After getting the error, and reading the guides and the posts on SCN , I copied the .SQL files into ABAP/DB/ORA directory as well and then restarted the Import again for the failed packages, but the import fails again.
Any clues/ suggestions would really be helpful.

However when the end-user On Click in other TAB ie. Manager Self-Service, Content Administration , the system is returning to the service ITS showing the same screen and not allow change to the TAB.
I need that the line code in the script " lastNavTarget.navigate();" is not execute when I change of TAB only when I finish the application using the button enclosed in the box red of the image previous.

I've come across a situation where the port to be used by SAP WebD for redirection is already under use.
I'm using port 8000 for hosting website UI files on IIS which ultimately calls for app server node at /sap/opu/odata/..../, I want to redirect the request coming on the same port (8000) with SRCURL = /sap/ to App server using SAP WebDispatcher.
Since port 8000 is already been used by IIS, how can I install & configure SAP Web Dispatcher on some other port (say 8100) and make it to redirect the requests coming on to port 8000 with SRCURL = /sap/ ?
It's like installing the SAP WebDispatcher on port 8100 and making it to redirect the requests coming on to port 8000.
As per my experience and after reading about WebD installations, I always found that SAP WebD will redirect the requests coming on to the WebD port. I've never seen the example where we can use the SAP WebD to redirect requests coming on to some different port.

It is taking more than 1 day to perform SAINT/SPAM update to new version 58 from 57. I noticed the Warning message "Warning: Background job RDDIMPDP could not be started or terminated abnormally" in usr/sap/trans log. So, I ran the report RDDNEWPP and then found the log warning "WARNING: Background job not running properly. Function: J Jobcount: 18463200 status: S. Please check the system. use transactions SM21, SM37, SM50."
Any ideas, please?
