Hi
I have installed on windows 7 and can login with SAPgui, but still a lot of things doesn't work.
- According to documentation I should be able to logon via web gui at http://localhost:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?sap-client=000
but I can't. Do I need to activate something in SICF?
- I have installed Loopback adapter, but the final step in documentation is a little vague. It only says
Click Next and finish.
After that maintain your local IP Address under "Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections".
I think I know how/where to set an IP Address, but I would still like a complete description to be sure. Can I just set any IP i like?
- Do I have to set some localhost entries in the hosts file?
- My goal is to be able to import some transport files from the code exchange, but I can't find any accurate description for transport system config. I have tried http://scn.sap.com/people/glen.spalding/blog/2010/05/11/the-full-monty--part-4--transport-system, but the basic set up seems to be completly different in the 7.03 SP04 Trial. In STMS->Overview->Systems it simply tells me "TMS not configured for NSP", and I don't have a clue where to start.
- I have tried to make some profile parameter changes according to http://scn.sap.com/people/glen.spalding/blog/2010/04/26/the-full-monty--part-3--license-profiles, but when I try to import the files of active servers, I get for each of the 3 files the error message: "Could not be read. The import is therefore not possible" - why?
I think this will be enough questions for now.
